IH patients suffer excessive cerebrospinal fluid pressure within the skull causing unbearable, constant headaches, swelling of the optic nerve, and often results in vision loss or blindness. There is very little research being done to help greater understand IH and ultimately find a cure. The IHR Foundation is actively researching IH to help reach that goal.
